Year 7 through to Year 10

For Years 7 through to 10, Mercy College will provide a school approved device to every new Year 7 student. The cost of the devices will be charged as part of your school fees across the four years. (See Mercy College "Fees & Charges Policy").

For students entering Mercy College in Years 8 through to Year 10, they will be provided with a device that matches the features and capabilities of the year group that they are entering.

The device will be provided to students (for school use only) to take home and complete homework, assessments and other teacher-assigned tasks.

The device comes with a 4 year warranty and includes accidental damage cover:

• For Acer Devices: Each accidental damage claim will cost $100. Up to a maximum of 4 claims over the life of the device.
• For Dell Devices: Families receive one free accidental damage claim each year. Subsequent repairs will require full payment for the damages.

Students are responsible for the care and maintenance of their device - if they have any issues or questions regarding their device, they are to contact or visit the ICT Department.

Parents must ensure students are looking after their device - we recommend regular checks on the condition of the device and that it is being carried and stored safely.
