Year 11 through to Year 12

Modified on Tue, 26 Nov at 8:55 AM

Years 11 and 12 students are allowed to bring their own device (BYOD). It is recommended that students first assess the needs of the classes they are studying to determine their requirements. Students should seek advice from their teachers to determine this.

In most cases, the device that was provided throughout Years 7 to 10 is far too old and unreliable to ensure a consistent learning experience, so a replacement device is  likely necessary.

The College recommends that students focus on devices that provide a complete learning experience -

Recommend: Devices running the latest version of Windows or MacOS.

Allowed: Devices such as iPads or Android tablets may not meet their learning needs but are allowed on campus.

Not Allowed: ChromeOS devices are unable to meet student learning requirements and are not allowed for use on campus.
